A few weeks ago, on the streets of Belgrade, a campaign for imaginary products that solve even more imaginary problems in a funny and optimistic way appeared on the billboards. The campaign marks the 25th anniversary of Alma Quattro and it has been created in cooperation with Orange Studio, who shared with us how this creative solution for the campaign was made, as well as its opinion on the significance of long-term partnerships in today’s world.
#1 How did you come up with the concept and creative solution for this campaign?
When we got the assignment to conceptualize a campaign for Alma Quattro, which celebrates its 25th anniversary, we knew that we have to re-apply Orange Studio’s recognizable style, which is based on freedom and courage in creative communication.
Knowing our client, the partner with whom we have had a fruitful cooperation for many years, but also knowing the nature of outdoor advertising, we wanted to create something that will be noticed by all people, yet something that would also represent Alma Quattro in the best possible way. Since we are talking about the company that is available, innovative, kind, with expressed empathy, entrepreneurial spirit and initiative , a reliable partner who nourishes and recognizes true values, we decided to create a campaign for non-existing products that awake positive feelings, smiles, and memory of good times in all of us.
We have conceived the solutions so that:
- By using #seeyouaroundthecorner (#vidimoseizaćoška), we unambiguously indicate that there is an Alma Media medium around every corner (citylight, billboard, scroll, column, or bigboard).
- Imaginary products are funny, interesting, unusual, unexpected, and they awake some nice and optimistic memories in all of us. The idea came from the fact that Alma Quattro has been with us for 25 years and that various products and services have been presented to consumers on its media. Conceptually, there are 25 products for 25 years.
- We have defined the key message in the communication as “SEE YOU EVERY DAY, for 25 years now. Alma Quattro.”
This whole year will be in the spirit of positive thoughts and optimism, which are more than needed in today’s society.
#2 How would you explain the importance of long-term partnerships in today’s changeable business climate?
The changeable business climate is not the only problem. We are in advertising industry, which not only depends on continually changeable market conditions, but also on constant innovations, primarily on the level of communication channels and technologies in general. It is, therefore, important to have stable partners in the long run. And not any partners, but those who are aware of the constantly changing world and who are willing to adapt and adjust all the time. The innovations that Alma Quattro has been using to advance its offer are the basic tools in our business.
To that effect, the partnership with Alma Quattro represents one of those cooperations without which we would have never been what we are.
